NEWPORT said:
I remember, Baltimore broadcasts would always praise that park.

yes they did newport, Chuck RIP:103631605

Also back in the day the Birds had fits on that turf with all those slap hitters running around,,, and this is when the Birds were the team...McRae, Wilson, Brett, Cowens, Mayberry, Otis, Patek, Porter....they gave us fits out there:icon_conf

This is any COLLEGE FIELD, PRO FOOTBALL FIELD or BASEBALL FIELD

The criteria for anserwing this Question must FIRST be the one place you have ATTENDED THE MOST BALL GAMES AT. The most times you have been to one SINGLE EXACT STADIUM or BALLPARK.

and then your best two memories at that place. Ok I wil start

I have been to well over 200 basketball games at Titan Gym at CSU Fullerton and well over 100 baseball games at the field

If we are talking professional - probably Anaheim Stadium even though i am a Dodgers' fan - but i live about 10 miles from the Stadium

As for top memory - this is easy for my #1 memory of ALL-TIME happened at Titan Gym. i can recall the event like it happened yesterday

Thursday, February 24, 1983

I was a Freshman at Fullerton. On this night Fullerton was THE place to be in the ENTIRE sporting world and it showed as 5.005 people jammed their way into a 4,100 seat Gym and it would have been more had the Fire Marshal not stopped people from entering and even though the game started @ 7:30P by 6:30P the place was PACKED!

On this night the #1 team in the country - the UNLV Runnin' Rebels came into Fullerton 24-0. for at least 4 weeks we KNEW we were going to win this game. looking back on it - it is a shame i wasn't as informed about gambling - for if i knew how to make a bet - and what the line was (anyone know what the outlaw line was - i would love to see it) for i would have made a M/L bet on the Titans

as expected - we won 86-78 and flooded the court with 2 seconds left. i still have the L.A. Times and Daily Titan from the next day even though they are somewhat yellowing and faded

simply put - the GREATEST sporting event i have EVER attended - even better than G7 of angels/giants or the 1992 USSR/Team USA semi-final game at the Albertville Olympics - the 1st rematch since the 1980 Miracle on Ice

now that i went back and read it was NOT basketball - that changes my answer

I will now go with what i believe was the 2000 or 2001 College Baseball Super Regional

after being shipped out on the road all the time - FINALLY fullerton got to host a SR. we hosted Mississippi State. that first friday night game was ELECTRIC! the place was sold out and they handed out "rally towels" and to see them all flying and the crowd in a frenzy was something that gave me goosebumps and as great as this was - seeing fullerton beating MSU the next day to advance to Omaha in front of the home crowd was the pair of games that stand out to me

Three Rivers Stadium. I know it left a lot to be desired (especially for baseball).

But, its where I enjoyed more great moments in baseball and grid season than all rest combined.
As a kid, I was at the Immaculate Reception game and when Clemente got his 3000th(and last in regular season as it turned out).

Also, in '86 caught Barry Bonds' 3rd homer in ml. Still, the only baseball(foul or home run) that I have ever got during the 150+ ml games I have attended.

RPM, I was at that '96 alcs game...I didn't recall Moose having a no-hitter thru 7...Is that the game Todd Zeille made the critical throwing error?

Then we go out and lose to sorry ass Cleveland the following season when they were not that good...thank you Armando Benitez, (Benitez decided to throw to game ending sliders to Marquis Grissom and Tony Fernandez , both game winning home runs) instead of bringing the heat...

'97 team should have been in the WS.
