Well he really was trying to sell it Here... just where he can.

and yes, would need to know about all that stuff, that's why i asked for a photo and shape of Main stone.
I'm sure he has papers, ( appraisal ) will have all that info.

also we all know that the appraisal is about $2K-$5K off, most are. Unless it's from an Insurance company.

I have done a few deals buying Diamonds over the years, there's good money in it.
The problem with selling a Ring is, most places don't give a rats ass about the ring. They will want to piece it out, break it up.
Did that once, where I bought the Center stone because the rest was Avg.

fair...

just don't want rx's to get hurt..

or ..worse..

Yeah, also don't think anyone is crazy enough to buy it without meeting the person. or without it being tested.

Also, he will probably be better off going to a Diamond place to sell it.

NYC Diamond district would be the place to go, but that means a Road trip. might be worth it.
I have one guy there that I have known for 35 years. he's the only one I trust with these things.

But if he does go there on his own. Shop 8-10 places to get a feel for price.

Which agency did the cert come from? Thats probably the most important thing without seeing the actual stone

I'll go out on a limb here and say his appraisal was done at a Jewelry store, and not GIA, AGS or EGL Certified.

Nothing wrong getting one done at a Jewelry store ( not all stores can do an appraisal ) but it's best to get it from a expert appraiser

First off...don't sell a ring on a gambling forum...huh...haha

I now a lot about this TOPIC...trust me...

How/why can you sell a ""ring"" w/o telling the cut of the CENTER STONE...

W/ GOLD...Y/GOLD...thick band... how many melee

DIMENSIONS OF THE STONE

and then ask 20K

the fvck up part is...

if you are serious you would post a pic...w/ papers...

ie...d, VS2...

I've dealt w/ A LOT Dealers...diamond /gem stone buyers...

Show your proof..

as I said in my previous posts - I was just trying to find out the best place to sell it - I figure a jewelry store. I just didn't know if there was some sort of website that that caters to this. Also I am not trying to sell it on the Rx, and I will post info later - I will prob have to message a mod because i never can post pics on this site - hopefully BAS is cool w posting the pics on it.
