Roger Clemons. Perhaps the biggest dick in professional sports history. Patrick Roy and Carl Lewis in one body.
Where the **** was he? Where is he now? Did anyone see him during the Yanks celebration? Had he gone back home? Was he at a strip joint? Pedro stays on the bench to cheer on his team. Clemons? Nowhere to be seen. Why did nobody on FOX question his whereabouts.
I guess he's already home in Houston crying to his wife about his shitbox performance tonight. Did I mention he's the most selfish asshole in pro sports history?
If he left the stadium, and I''m Joe Torres, that **** doesn't play in the World Series.

I don't know who Roger Clemons is.

Is he related to that RHP, Roger Clemens, on the Yanks?

Actually, yeah - that's bizarre that he wouldn't bother to stay and cheer them on ... every other pitcher in the post season seem to.

Bizarre? It's pathetic. Did anyone see him after the game? Did he leave the stadium during the game? Looking forward to the Yankees spin doctors' take on this one.

Roger gets paid to be a pitcher not a cheerleader, Roger is a true professional.

Interesting question here, you'd think the pitcher would always stay around till the game ended. I just sort of assumed so until I read about a pitcher on the DRays getting fined for not staying on the bench for the rest of the inning he got yanked in. I had no idea that is a rule or the need for one. Apparently there is. If you get pulled with one out in the 6th you must stay until the relief pitcher closes them down in that inning. Then you are free to go to the clubhouse and get showered. They called it Pinella's rule in the newspaper so don't know it that is standard or what. Maybe since its the pitcher they want to get him showered and his arm covered up?

Either way in this situation I would think they'd want to stay for the entire game or at least shower and come back to the bench.

Now, you went and did it, baseball not even a sport! Oh sh!t, I spent 25 years of my life and it was not even a sport! Whatever, your a bitter man! Baseball, is the most complete sport on the planet, imho, it takes every skill to play the game properly!

Learn more about things before you make a ridiculous statement like that, and perhaps someone may respect your thoughts!

Maybe he thought he had pitched his last game and went home before the Yanks started their rally. Joe Buck sure painted it up to be his last outing.

eric17, Baseball is ghetto Cricket. I've played it all (can't swim though) and hockey players are far and away the best all around athletes. It's also a team game, unlike baseball.
I don't care to be respected by anyone in Cleveland. Thanks anyway.
