I am currently a sub-licensee of a poker site and due to differences and the lack of help from my partner, I wanted to get some insight as to what site I could list the site on to be sold or for auction?

Some quick facts
-----------------
60% payout each month of gross revenue (includes casino)

Over 200 signups YTD

Opened in December 2008

Site has generated about $1500 in 3 months of being open

We are looking to get our money back and transfer the contract to someone else who could market and make the site a success. If anyone has any ideas or is looking for a new venture, send me a PM.

Please visit www.playerwins.com to check out the site.

I am not promoting the site in any way form or fashion. Just wanted to see what you guys thought and what I should do to get this thing sold and to not lose too much money before we were dead in the water. I am just slammed at work with my current job and do not have the time as well as the money to float the marketing bill on my own as my partner has expressed he will not fund nor help with any marketing of the site moving forward.

First thing you need to do is give us a password and user name to check out the software. Perspective buyers need to see the front end and back end to judge the software. Also, you mentioned pittbull poker before. Is this the same software they use? Is this source code different? 60%? Is that a joke?

You would think that a serious buyer would want to go through the sign up and create an account.

Are current players going to leave when ownership changes? Is it just a few guys racking up rake to make it look a lil better?

Yea bro its on the pitbull network same source, prolly C sharp. You would not get the source fully you would just get the compiled server files.

This is just an affiliate skin of Pitbull Gaming, yes. How much did you pay for it? They were charging like $10-15k, no? How much is your deposit? You don't even handle deposits or payouts, yes? What percent of poker rake and casino hold do you get?

I did a lil research and i found that skins do run about 10k
skins normally are all handled in same CS, Security, and accounting...
The main thing that is left out they will not handle is your marketing. Maybe they will do a graphic here and there for you if you dont have your own team.

Ill can start the bid at 5k

I had it priced at 5k 90/10. Sorry PB.

It's not bad (Pittbull Poker) and I know a decent size book that uses them.

Also, I did set up an account just to check out the tables, but it was impossible. Now that I know it's on the PB network or software I don't have to worry. Been there done that. :103631605

Leatherballs, do you host the PlayerWins.com website and database, or does Pitbull Gaming?

If it's API-integrated (like 5dimes does to Pitbull) I may have a buyer.

If it is API-integrated, what % of deposits does GCashier (Pitbull) charge you?

Also, is there any on-going licensing fee or minimum on the royalty (percentage) fees?

Current players would never know that ownership changed! The players we do have, I honestly do not know any of them.

We just used the power of facebook and the word of mouth. I would transfer the Facebook Fan Page over as well to whoever wanted the site.

Its pretty simple on the payout as most of the software companies i talked to paid a lot more like 75/25 or 80/20 but hosting, support, & processing was not included. Most of the options were about 2k a month for hosting, suport, and payment processors. All they ask is that you generate at least $500 a month in revenue and the casino can get you there pretty quick, so stay out of the casinos guys.

We do not pay anything for hosting, support, site maintainence, or anything. Just 40% of gross revenue goes to them.

We have a company in California that does all of the web design and work on the website for us. Pitbull (Dimensus) operates and maintains the actual poker software that is implemented in to the site.

Hope that cleared everything up for everyone. We do not host the site or operate any of the servers or deal with payment processing. We do though have access to the backend of the operation where we can monitor our players every second of the day, see what table they are on, and pretty much anything you can think of. Contact info., emails, ectc.

To be honest, I know we will never get what we put in to it and I hope that someone who has money and is good with internet marketing will buy it and make it a success.

With marketing, we have spent about 20k. I would gladly take 15k and take a loss and say i learned a lesson.

Please do not bash me or say im dumb, i am just looking for some insight as to where I can post the site for sale.

Thanks for all of your feedback and hope i have been somewhat of some help to you guys.

Thanks

you are asking way to much. If I were to commit to that price asked. I would be better off going to PitBull and setting up from scratch and sink in what i save into marketing funds...

So what do you think it is worth? Definitely not 5K like you stated and plus you have some guys already playing and its generating money. Make me an offer??? Who knows, you can build it up and sell the thing for more. I just want out before its too late.

I am going to list the site this evening on www.sitepoint.com and see what I can get for it. I think it will bring more than 5k but you may be right after all.

Thanks for the responses
