There are some fucking deals out there!

Last time I stayed at Caesars, I liked it, it wasn't that great though.

Do I stay somewhere cheap as shit to have the most money to gamble and blow on clubs/shows/dinners or do I go to a better place and spend less?

My buddy swears by the Mandalay bay but it's far from the center strip. Can I pay and go to their pool anyway one day?

Mandalay, Mirage, Paris, Wynn, Rio, Ballys ( cheap but good location), Treasure Island ?

Any help would be appreciated? I'd rather have a decent pool, and good location after that I like the cheapest decent place ( I'm not staying at the Tropicana, Sarhara, Stratosphere or anywhere like that).

Vegas Help

What hotel to stay at?

Better hotel for more money, or cheaper joint and just spend and gamble more?

I'd prefer to be by the center strip and I'd prefer a hotel with a pool. What's the best place for the money?

Id pick the room where they stayed in the movie the Hangover.

Thanks for the link but I'd book through Expedia.

You know, Treasure Island doesn't look THAT bad but the only turn off is that Pirate show is gay as shit and attracts a lot of kids. It makes me think it is more of a family place right or wrong, but the rooms have a nice style, it's a pretty good location and dirt cheap right now.

Of course I'd still probably go to ceasers for the pussy cat doll tables and rehab at the Hard rock and the clubs elsewhere but I'm considering TI.

Is the pool decent enough though? I hear great things about Madalays pool but that place is so far away from everything.

Is the Mirage's pool decent? I like their location and it's a decent price.

Sometimes I think just saying fuck it and going to the Wynn or Bellagio but I'd rather have extra money to gamble with.

Mirage is nice too. They have a great poker room and a good sportsbook. Can't go wrong

Is the flamingo really decent?

Its ok.

Also, where ever you stay, keep the hotel room key, so that way when you return to Vegas, you have a key for the hotel, that will help you access the pool. They usually ask to see a key. Really need it for Palms, Mandlay and Hard Rock.

You want to save money get a time share.

How many of you are going?

My brother is going in July as he goes often and has a large family takes my parents even gave his frequent flier miles to my daughter and is going.

So a kitchen saves mucho denero.

And he gambled with me at the last bash and he is staying at the Golden Nugget for three nights free.........LOL while his kids are staying at the jockey club with grandparents he ducks out to GN.

It has been redone. I haven't stayed there in 15 years. I walked through last year, pool is nice, and real centrally located.

It really depends what you want! When I go with the family,I stay at MGM Signature. No casino, smoke free and use of all at MGM facilities.

I think you should be able to get deals now in Vegas.
The Venetian is really nice too.

There are so many places to stay. Can't go wrong with Mirage.
Check the prices BOL

The deals are there.

I heard bad stuff about the Flamingo but it does have a good location. I stayed at Ceasars last year and ate across the street at the Harrahs ( subway) and the Chipolte there too because that saved a shit load of money.

I like that location, the Mirage and TI are close and quite cheap. The Paris is alright, but do you think the Mirage is better than the Paris?

Who do you think has the better pool and crowd?

MGM is huge and it felt like being on a subway for me. Long long halls, dark, but the rooms seemed decorated alright.

You can't beat TI for bang for the buck.....Great location, casino very easy to navigate, decent pool scene (but not on par with HR or MB obviously)

The "pirate show" was changed awhile back to a more adult themed "Sirens of TI" (see below). They basically rebranded the property to a more hip party scene....thus the change from Treasure Island to "TI". I wouldn't worry about the kid factor at all.

Expedia's "top pick" is treasure Island. It looks like it's for kids with that weak ass Pirate show but I hear it's an underrated place to stay for the money. I hear you aren't paying that much but actually get a decent place. I don't know, I never went there.

Hat I just posted people were saying TI was good for the money.

I went last year and the Pirate show still looked weak. They had some girls but it looked like a disney movie gone bad.

Is the pool at TI really decent enough at all? It looks small and I want people in their 20's and 30's in my hotel and not screaming kids and old farts looking for cheap buffet.

Flamingo is by far the best for the money, get a Go Room. Best location on the strip.

If you stay in a cheap hotel, could you go to other hotels pools for a fee or do they block out all non-guests? I'd consider that.
