there's some good discussion when people faciliate it, but people are just stubborn.
i read some of chop's threads, and let's be serious, most of them were his picks, and then 50 posts saying he's the man and good luck. deserved, yes, but there was as little baseball discussion in there as any other thread.
dsethi is right. there are a number of people who post analysis (BigShotMaxx and dsethi always have nice write ups) with their plays and other people (like gyno) who post threads looking for thoughts and insight. There are also the people who are playing systems (like SSI and me) who have bounced many ideas and much information off the board and modified these systems. Other people have varied the systems some as well based on this information.
I am new this year and haven't see success from Chop, but I will defer on his capping ability to those who have been here longer and there is a pretty good concensus that he is a good capper. Everyone goes through bad runs and whether you follow him or not, I think we all hope he does well and comes back soon and strong. No one is forcing anyone to follow another capper or player, but the more options the better.
Thanks for the shoutout Arnie, but I am not capping shit, just playing a slightly modified version of SSI's system.
TOJayz and phdinsports (who only posts in the tracker forum for some reason, would be nice to have some input and analysis from him) have also been on fire this season. Tomorrow's Newspaper is also doing well.
