There are 2 eras IMO, before salary cap & salary cap.........

The Patriots have done so much more with many different players at basically every position but qb during the salary cap era than any other NFL team, so IMO, they're #1 in the salary cap era.......& I know it was harder to win 4 bowls the way Belichick & Brady have with revolving players.

So with that said, into, its between the 49ers with Montana with his 4 bowls & all 4 wins w/o any interceptions, that is really good.........

Would live to see the Patriots with Brady in their prime vs the 49ers & Montana in their prime.

49ers of the 80's had a great team & the rules were a lot different as well........you could actually hit a qb back then, along with the Steelers of the 70's & Dallas of the 90's........

IMO, out of all 4 qbs, Brady is the whiner of the group.......

So, as far as dynasties go......

#1 49ers with Montana

#2 Patriots with Brady

#3 Steelers with Bradshaw

#4 Dallas with Aikman

Out of all 4 of those qbs, I've never heard anyone say I wanted to be like Bradshaw growing up........IMO, he had such great players around him, he just did enough to win the game .......helped to have the steel curtain defense.

I find it funny and sad that people think Drew Brees and Peyton Manning are in the same class as Bart Starr and Otto Graham.

Hell neither of them are as good as Sonny Jurgensen.

Scott what is so funny?

Atleast you can go to a Pats game and enjoy the experience. As opposed to Miami where if you are wearing the wrong team colors they try to F you up in the parking lot. I'm surprised they don't sell Oxy at the hotdog stand there.

Pats game biggest nuisance is it is cold and in the middle of nowhere. Dolphins game biggest nuisance is someone might legitimately try to stab you.

You could go to a Dolphin game wearing a Jets Jersey no problem ... It's like going to a Red Sox game, there's just as many New Yorkers there

yeah fighting in general is way up at NFL games (or maybe just recorded better in the era we live in)

although it does seem like with TVs getting better that a lot of people don't wanna bother going to games, then the wrong kinda people end up getting tickets. That is a purely anecdotal observation though.

Jimmy Garappalo has as many rings as Peyton Manning and Brett Farve. Bwahahahaha

Let's see 4 world championships 6 afc championships 9 appearances in the afccg in 14 years. Not to mention by far the most regular season wins. No other team comes close. In relative terms of course it's a dynasty. I mean come on.

Not true, Manning has more rings than the guy that has never taken an NFL snap. He has 3 AFC championship rings, 1 SB ring, 1 SEC championship ring, and 2 high school state champ. rings.

This is New England’s second consecutive appearance in the Super Bowl, their third in four years, their fourth in seven years, and their eighth in the past sixteen years. It means that, on average, the Patriots will have appeared in the Super Bowl once every two years since 2002. They’ve won five Super Bowls in that time.

It's hard to win the greatest of the greatest arguments, all you can hope for is to be in the mix

and they're in the mix

and they did it in the era of free agency and salary caps,.they're an organization that manages at a different level
