I've been looking to add to my meager amount of system plays for betting sports. When I do an Internet search all I get are scamdicapper ads. Does anyone know of any sources for system plays that have worked for them? Are there any books out there that include a lot of these?

Thanks.

The Gold Sheet Extra has a section called Systems Spotlight.If you call 1-800-798-4653 I am sure you can get a free copy mailed to you.Remember, The Gold Sheet extra is a different pub than the actual Gold Sheet,from the same outfit, of course.I am not affiliated with the Gold Sheet, by the way.

Thanks guys.

I go out to Statfox but they try to get you to buy system plays. I may have to invest somewhere. It's a good site for stats though.

The best guy for system plays is Greg Dempson, hands down...some of his charts are published in the print edition of the Winners Edge...go to winnersedgeonline.com to get electonic ed of the print...most charts are 76% ATS or better

BigGames - I have actually published a book with plenty of system plays that are well researched, including my fundamental rushing situation, which is 348-234-23 over the past 20+ seasons, including 15-7-1 this year already and has only had two losing seasons in that timespan, of which both were just one game below .500.

Anyway, if you'd like to know more, send me an email at skellen160@aol.com and I will give you more details. I think you'll like it an awful lot.

Sixth Sense;

I know you are a big stat guy, do you have a breakdown of % of times a # hits on the #. In other words a game is lined at 14, what is the % of times it hits 14? game lined at 13.5 % of times it hits 14? looking for info. in both college and pro.

jdog - Attached are the point distribution results for nfl, since 1983 and college, since 1988. You may also want to look at the results for lines 1/2 point off.

Good data 6th! I knew about the the 3pt thing but its great to see the distribution for all the numbers. Personally, I always buy down to 3 in the NFL, it has saved me on several occasions, but I'll accept 2.5 when taking points because when I'm taking short spreads I'm trying to win the game straight up.

I had never seen the stats for college. I think the lower 3pt percentage reflects how poor the kickers are in that league.

THanks Six, you are the Man. Hate to be greedy but you don't happen to have the 1/2 point charts? I think you know what I am talking about? OF the games lined at 2.5, % of times they hit 3 ETC..
