Try Card Player Magazine's website...I seem to recall someone mentioning that they have tourney listings.

Charlie I haven't seen the list BUT most places in Vegas that hold tourneys have them the same day with the same buy in on a weekly basis. Give me a minute and I'll check it out at Card Player's site.

I wanted to do this for my own edification anyway since I visit Vegas a few times a year but NEVER wake up early enough to play in the tourneys...anyway....

If you "mouse over" (do not click) the "tournaments" menu then "mouse over" the "tournaments trail" sub menu you will see a listing of Nevada Weekly Tournaments. Those are the events the various casinos hold each week.

Generally they are smallish but if you are looking for a decent prize pool then hit the Bellagio 500 tourney or enter the tourneys with the rebuys. good luck.

I expect a full report on the action when you return from your trip.

Cool, I'll look out for it. Good luck!!!!

I'll be in Vegas mid April and hoping that I make it to a tourney one day I'm there. Then again, I always say that when I'm there and end up drinking all night, getting three hours sleep, and barely making it to my tee time.

made it back alive....that place is UNREAL. Touched down at 10:30pm thur. and stayed until 1am sun. Had one 3 hr nap on fri. from about 2pm to 5pm, you cant do it much harder than that. there are newsletter magazines in all of the poker rooms that list all of the tourneys for the week. I got in one at The Orleans on Fri. at 7pm and made it past the first break. Got burned about two hours in when I flopped a set of kings and a dude had aces in the hole. $40 buy-in with a $20 re-buy and there were probably 500 players...it was exciting as ****. Me and my boy balled at the Palms holdem room from about 1am to about 9am Sat morn. and there were people on the wait list the whole night!!! Did pretty well there and also did good at the Monte Carlo all day Saturday. Never could get on a table at the Bellagio, I guess they always have a nolimit room were you could buy-in for $100. Other highlights include costing Bobby Jackson $100 on the craps table crappin out and takin a $130 pot off of one of the Nsync clowns at the palms in hold'em. I'm headin back as soon as possible!!!!

Thanks for the report Charlie. Sounds like you had an awesome time.

I actually like the Palms room. I played a small kill game there that was pretty fun. In fact the night I played there they didn't spread anything larger than 4-8 with a full kill. What limits did you play with the NSync guy? What limits did they have in the room?

I didn't like the Monte Carlo room much but they do spread NL.

Once again, thanks for the report.
