anyone on here saying the Cowboys arent the best team in the NFC does not know football....all you have to do is watch the games. I hate Dallas but they will be playing in the Super Bowl...they are the best team in the NFC. Everyone has an off day/game. It happens. Are the Cowboys supposed to cover the spread every week? That's just stupid. Open your eyes.
I don't bet with posters ( I used to , I got stiffed for $1500) How anybody can say Dallas is the best team in the NFC after watching yesterdays game ..is beyond me. You want to talk in November ,fine ...December Ill be here too.
to win Superbowls , you need two things ....
A running game ...( absent yesterday )
shutdown Defense (absent all year - except when playing the Browns )
Until they fix those holes , I would say the defending champ Giants are the best in the NFC ...
If Wade Phillips doesn't get in the way, and they play anywhere near the level of defense they played against Green Bay a few weeks ago I don't think there is a better team in the league. Their talent level is unmatched in most cases they just need Terrance Neuman to cover somebody and the same with Roy Williams. Even with their defensives deficiencies their talent level should carry them deep in the playoffs.
If you want we can post up to a third party. Doesn't have to be a lot, it don't matter to me. I'm sure we can find some odds somewhere.
I don't hate them that much too care. All Im saying I cant say honestly I think they are the "Best" in the NFC especially after seeing them manhandled at home by division rival Washington who now share the record as them ....

Most rushing touchdowns in the NFC=Dallas 1st
Average yards per rushing carry= Dallas 4th in NFC
although the Giants avg plenty of yards per game there are only two teams currently in the NFC with fewer rushing TD's than the Giants. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt though because they have only played 3 games. What I'm trying to say that although Dallas is a pass first offense , there is no lack of a running game. It's actually not that bad. They have a great one-two punch. They have the deep , quick threat and the hard nose runner. We can't go on one game and judge the Cowboys. And as for defense... statistically they have the 8th ranked defense in all of the NFL. The Giants rank better in categories here and there but I think Dallas is simply a better team. I guess we will find out sooner than later. Growing up in a house full of Giants fans and hating Dallas I can assure you there is no bias here...I just personally feel Dallas is the best team in the NFC this year. I think it's their year. Last year was NE's year until the Giants ruined that (big smile). This year is the year of the Cowboy...unless those New York football Giants want to play spoiler again
