He can beat you on the ground, not through the air. And teams know it. And they still can't stop him.

75% passing , and a 14.9 rushing average......Get real

Bob Griese threw less passes in a Dolphins Super Bowl Win...

I'm not a Vick basher, never have been. He's a well conditioned exceptional athlete. JMan, your thread title pulled me in. Sorry.

....

I am a Vick basher and can say they didn;t win today because of him. They shoved the ball down the Rams throat. Lets see what happens when Vick goes against a team that makes him pass to beat them. If Atlanta plays Minnesota they should win. If they play Philly they lose :nono5: Vicks a great athlete, not a great QB.

The interesting thing about the bashers is that they do not recognize that the guy has one of the strongest arms in the game.

He is still very young and can offer so much to a team. If he ever learns to read defenses better and improves his accuracy just a bit he will be the most lethal weapon at QB ever to play the game.

The Rams D is not great but you figure they probably gameplanned for the guy and still couldn't stop him.

Your right about the arm Swami, his longest pass in the air not including receiver yardage was 87 yards at VT. Here in Atlanta on the news in pre-season he was goofing around with Matt Schaub the back up QB and they had a contest during a local news show; the rules were Schaub could get a running start and throw the ball as far as he could..it went 61 yards. Vick had to stand with both feet on the goal line and throw the ball...it went 68 yards. We have yet to see the best from him, this is not only a great team but the guys are great too. You'll never see them in any bad headlines; the coaching staff is just getting started as well...I wish you guys could have seen the post-game news conference; just a great organization.

I am lurking in the weeds. I have faith that he will lose a game for them.
