When you play craps, what is your strategy (how do you play?)

I think I saw that the don't pass bet has the smallest HA but you get the largest dirty looks. Next is the don't come bet....Do you care what people think?

do you play numbers? Hard ways?

do you press, parlay, pull numbers?

last time I was in vegas I tried the theory of loading up the board when I saw someone setting dice before they rolled.


if they were the type that jiggled them in their hands, I tried to sneak a don't pass bet in or just passed as a whole.


that didnt work out....especially cause I realized I also try to look like i'm setting my dice but I don't know wtf i'm doing

Hot streaks are no joke! Just watch the "flow of the dice" on the table, you'll know when to get in or get out. And play hardways

I don't get the obsession with craps....just a whole lot of shitty bets on the table the ensures you lose.

if you only play the passline (probably the best thing you can do), then it will be boring

it is because the table doesn't get crowded til midway of a good roll....thats why when it is over you made money and realize how crowded it is....

yes, my first post stated that don't pass is the lowest HA....but all the backlash, I go with passline being the best thing you can do (slightly worse odds, much less haters).

It tilts me when I play don't pass....all the others cheer extra hard and point at me when the points are made.....but I don't do shit to them when they are losing money...pisses me off

I play Pass line with Full odds behind, I always have at least 3 boxes ( numbers in action ) If I'm doing well I will throw a few bucks on the Hard ways
But 99% of the time I stay Out of the middle of the table

on my recent Trip this past week in Vegas, I saw more than the usually amount of people playing the Don't Pass.
Sure it's great if you have a horrible run, but if the table is running good. That guy is screwed . Which happened on the last night at the table I was at.

I personally don't touch them, but have see them pay out more and more lately.

One method that did good for me was a negative progression on the don't pass.

I think I was going $10, $30, $60 or something like that....but 3 was the max per shooter...if he made 3 passes I wait it out til the next shooter and start over with $10....so $100 was the most I could lose on one shooter.

no back odds.

I didn't do it much because like I said, I hate 8 people screaming at every pass and saying "good for you" when I lose my don't pass bets....pisses me off

I also agree that staying out of the middle is the way to go

The only time i jump in the middle is if I throw hard ways bets on there for the dealers.
