I believe the entire offshore industry is in a decline
having said that, some stuff is better than ever and things can improve
1) contests are very well run, better than they've ever been
2) as VD mentioned in a thread, a bash can only help with bonding
3) do what we can to keep cappers capping, some don't like to deal with the social rejects one can encounter on the WWW. Try to lose the social rejects who do nothing but complain
I know there were more solid cappers posting in the not too distant past, although there are still some solid guys posting today (just check out the leaders in the Westgate style NFL contest)
keep sewer like posts in the sewers down below

I'm sure the traffic is down.. but we still have some solid info and threads on this site ....hopefully things pick up...things would also help if more posters would use some of the RX sponsors... like to have a thread started to see who actually plays offshore and who doesn't...to many are here to just start trouble or complain.....love the bash idea...
Needs to be a "play of the day" thread like there once was but it faded after a month or so. Some guys (more than a few) had strong records in that. Even this time of year, no reason not to have it on Sundays. I know it is easier with MLB but some are good at college/ NBA bball and there are games every night.
Not saying this is how it is now, but most forums go dead once Mods start overstretching their powers and get quick to ban people. I never agree with any ban unless it is intentional spam over and over or someone using the forum as a means to scam others.

This site is like 19 or 20 years old now. I have been here since the first week that
Ken of blessed memory launched the site.
Back in the day it was just info sharing about the different books, a few contests, and
sharing of plays. As the site grew in numbers it then became more lax in the main forum
to go off topic and talk about non gambling related off topics. Then came political forums,
rubber rooms, Etc. As the site grew in numbers it also became a hang out where people
would shoot the shit about non-offshore stuff. Aspiring Touts and Services wanted to use
the site to launch careers. But while there was the rapid growth in number of posters during
the first few years. There was also an early peak and downfall of a bunch of books going on at
the same time. A lot of division and jaded view points on what this site and other sites that were
starting to pop up should be or should not be.
Some people wanted these sites to be watch dogs, some wanted more entertainment/pop culture,
some wanted these sites to be centered around plays and picks.
Personally I liked the first couple years where we just shared info on books, industry stuff, and picks and plays.
But I know that the introduction of and allowing the other stuff was needed for the site to grow and expand.

Just between the Service & NFL forums on a Sunday, they are a Combined 8,000 viewing. ( that's within any given Hour between 10am-1pm ) * Eastern
That doesn't mean 8,000 for the whole day... it's within an hours time.
There was also a Sunday, last month where we reached almost 11K people on at the same time.
Now has it been like it use to be, back in " the Day " No ... like others have said plenty of times ... since the Netteller Crash ... it hasn't been the same.

MJ users were in the same boat with a federal ban yet have managed to get around it. If sports bettors were as enthusiastic about it, we'd be a lot closer to legalization today. The FED clamping down on offshore is a big reason why traffic is down, guys like me don't want to go looking around for locals. Once it's legal, and I think it's getting close to that, this site will be bigger than it ever was.

yesterday wednesday was prolly one of the deader days you will ever see with no football being played at all.
fantasy sports wagering has EXPLODED and casino gambling has expanded everywhere in RECENT years....
you have to know offshore wagering is down, it's intellectually dishonest to suggest otherwise 5TP or to imply because legal casino gambling is growing that illegal offshore gambling is doing likewise
