He is scheduled to be on Jay Leno on Thursday, July 22.

There is no way Jeopardy will let him on Leno until he loses.

So, now we have to figure out when that loss will occur.

It won't happen on July 22 because that is cutting it way too close. It might happen on Wednesday, July 21 - but once again - not likely for it is cutting it too close but it might make sense because then, when his losing makes national headlines - and it will - Leno can have him at maximum publicity.

My guess is on Tuesday, July 20 he will be done.

Why would be barred from Leno while still getting airtime on the show? Jennings was just on Letterman last night doing the Top Ten list.

I read that the season finished taping several months ago (feb or april) and will begin again in August.

Therefore, this being July, his winning or losing has already happened -- we just haven't seen it yet.

If he maintained his winning streak at the end of the season and they let him come back for the August tapings, then it may be get out on the Internet that he is still around.

If words gets out he is still winning, then several weeks (if not months) of shows could be spoiled because he would obviously be the winner, as evidenced by his presence at August tapings.

The producers would want to keep all of this info under wraps, of course.

Once again, he took advantage of STUPID challengers.

Final Jeopardy category was HEADLINES FROM THE LAST 40 YEARS.

Question was something like:

The first two years the New York Times used a 96-point font on their front-page, the events were five years apart.

The correct answer was 1969 (man walks on moon) and 1974 (Nixon resigns).

The champ guessed 2001 and 1996. The male challenger guessed 1969 and 1974 (but the judges ruled his writing wasn't legible). The female challenger guessed 1964 and 1968. Apparently she missed the clue about the events being five years apart.

I'm beginning to wonder if the Jeopardy producers use some sort of quota system when selecting female contestants.

There is a huge difference from doing a quick spot on Letterman and a guest appearance on Leno.

I have been watching him daily and with a name like KEN, I don't think he'll lose anytime soon...
