I saw someone driving this car in Carlsbad, CA about 2 mnonths ago. They had certain parts of the car covered up, and it had Michigan manufacturer plates. I was right next to it at the light, but couldn't get the drivers attention as she was on her cell. Sure sounded hot when it took off.
Nice. Based on those pictures I would have to guess September then because that is when dealers pull out those labor day deals on old models.
Funny thing I saw in the paper last week. One of my local Ford dealers is running a special on some brand new 2008 Mustangs. Yes I said "New" 2008 models. Man that means they have been sitting on the lots since 2007. Why not just lease them to the rental car companies for 3 years and then sell them on the used car lot? It must be costing this dealer $400 a month to just sit on these cars. Multiply that by 36 months and you should be able to negotiate $14,400 off their asking price on top of the rebates, bonus cash and 0% financing. I figure the second you drive that brand new 2008 Mustang off the lot it depreciates $15,000- $20,000.
I can't wait to compare the Camaro to the Challenger. I have always wanted some American Muscle.
