I must spend 9-12 hours sitting Saturday and Sunday during NFL. I have a very nice office executive chair. Today I sat in some nice leather executives. But I would rather be in a good long term posture, than sitting in leather. What, where and how much are the best chairs for betting offshore? Best Wishes...OF

an aeron chair. I love this thing. If your ass is sore for whatever reason this is the way to sooth it.

Borat, I agree. An Aeron chair is the best. I used to work in a trading room 12 hours a day banging a keyboard in my Aeron. It's the standard chair on Wall Street. I took it with me when I left.

OF, I am an investor in a company that manufacture’s ‘Intensive Use’ chairs. Their niche is communication center’s that have somebody’s butt in the chair 24 hrs a day, they are the leader in that area. They are pricey chairs but are built to last. They are designed to prevent compression of your leg nerves and optimize circulation. Shoot me an email and I can get you some more info and if you want someone to hook you up with a good deal. ebehling@sbcglobal.net

kidslick, the Herman Miller Aereon chair is a very nice chair. It's the only chair Herman Miller makes that can compete with us in a 24/7 environment, although most heavy-set people prefer ours due to it being more durable with a better warranty and service plus the webbing on the aereon doesn't hold in the niche we compete in. The company's chairs I deal with sell for $1100, comes with a 6-year warranty on all parts and is %100 modular. If you're serious I could make sure someone gives you the "rx-special" and you don't pay that much...only rule is no bonus-whoring, haha. I replied to your email. gl

Have not heard from Col. Forbin yet, and soon to go camping. I am looking over the Aeron just in case. There is a basic chair, then there are adjustment options. I figure if you are going to spend high, might as well load up for the adjustable. Probably add leather arms, as vinyl does nothing for me. Looking at a dime. Anyone out there sitting in one of these, or have sat in one. Big FROG needs a C. Any opinions on adjustment packages? Thanks and Best Wishes...OF

I wouldn't say it competes with the aeron in the everyday 'office' market, but it does compete against it in the niche this chair was designed for. Which is the 24/7 communications/dispatch market. That's the only market this chairs is heavily involved in and sells to...any center that has someone's butt sitting in it at all times.

I got mine fully loaded, leather upgrade, C-loops for arm rests for under a dime delivered. I am a extra large guy, about 225lbs now. I cannot even wobble it. Very comfortable, spend many hours in it, sometimes 16 a day. Has 7 legs with casters, all welded. That was my only problem, some of the welds had pokeys, or tack spikes. One gave me a nasty cut. Just took it back apart and hand filed them down. No biggie. Col. Forbin obtained a huge break for me. FYI: My wife is an advice nurse for a major hospital, they have the same chairs, just cloth. A FROG benjamin rating.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:

Not a paid endorsement. :nono5:
