When Ohio St Loses by 28 could you say they were a top 10 team this year?

I'll be sure to note next year that when a top 10 team loses to a bad team that they don't deserve ANY consideration for the title game. You know it'll happen to someone right? Could easily be the Sooners (a team that has a lot of room to talk:ohno:)

Naw USC vs. LSU... For the record I don't care at all for USC, Pac-10 or SEC...

Actually, Canes vs. LSU would be the true national championship... Using steaks example the canes are the best team in the country... They were just unlucky to lose 7 games by close margins of 14-50 points...

College foots need Miami and FSU back to get some ACC love flowing...

Miami will be back - FSU could be in trouble with the rise of South Florida.

I cheer for whoever I bet on and the Chargers/Padres.

As for your hoops squad. Nice squad. I haven't watched 5 minutes of college hoop this yr

Congrats on your first playoff win in over a decade. You going to win something anytime soon with the best player in the league?

Of course you haven't watched any hoops, you're way to busy sneaking around the USC facilities to get a glimpse of Pete Carroll's junk.

You act like that was Stanford's only win or something. They could gather a couple wins in any other conference outside of the SEC. Probably would give Ole Piss a game.

after the sooners lost to colorado this year, i knew they would have to run the table to have any shot... they didn't, and you didn't hear me bitching and moanin when they were left out... i rarely call anyone out on anything, it's gotta be ridiculous for me to say something, congrats.

figured you would bring the sooners up even though they have nothing to do with the conversation... :103631605

Oklahoma will be a top 10 team next year, will they not be? Figured it would be a good example that you could understand.

Canes are loaded with talent and have a top 5 class coming in but they have the 2 worst QB's in college football...

I still rank them #1 in the nation even with a losing record and no bowl game...

Sorry, but if OU had the exact 2 losses as USC this year, I wouldn't have a problem with them being left out. You have to get the job done on the field at some point. jmo, you fellas have fun with this

Well, they got Northwestern's QB who is rated 9th by rivals as a passing QB - this coach can recruit but let's see what they do on the field.

miami will be very, very good next year. obviously its contingent on getting better production offensively. but their defense has been bcs caliber for about the last half decade. stats might not show it at times because their offense puts them in horrible spots. but when they get any sort of offensive production, their D is able to fly around and be dominant.

as for usc, not sure what the stanford game has anything to do with them being the best team in the country right NOW. do they deserve any national title talk? fu.ck no. was the loss to stanford among the worst in recent college football history? no doubt. but that team is absolutely stacked and would be a legit favorite over any team right now. books might line lsu as a pick or -2 or -3, but youd have to get the sense that usc is the team to beat. its laughable that they lost to a joke stanford team. but thats on them.

No team with the biggest pointspread loss in NCAA football history can be in any conversation for the best of anything. Why is everyone saying they are the best right now? Because they killed ASU? Because they killed Illinois? Please name the top defense USC faced this season that makes all USC defenders so sure that they could move the ball on a top defense like Georgia, LSU,, etc....? I saw them struggle to move against UCLA, Cal, Oregon, Zona, Stanford, all sieves on defense

What makes you think LSU could put up a good amount of points on USC's defense? Does USC's D not have speed or something?

people are saying they are the best team right now because its obvious their young talent peaked at the right time. nothing more, nothing less. lets not kid ourselves. no win is going to convince to say anything positive about southern cal. but their talent on both sides of the ball is indisputable.

arguing against southern cal is like arguing against memphis in basketball this year. they play nobody in conference. ok we get it.

but theyre also friggin good. and can match up with anyone.
