That's twice in the last three games he decides to leave Reed Johnson out and switch up his top of the order, messing up team chemistry. When the hell will this idiot ever learn that when you win, you don't mess with lineups.
Reed Johnson is a career .308 hitter versus lefties but instead he starts Matt Stairs who is .236 career versus lefties. Lyle Overbay is a .285 hitter versus lefties and he is left out as well. WTF! Who the hell in their right minds starts both Jason Phillips and Greg Zaun at the same time? They are both almost automatic outs. Oh and who could forget John MacDonald and his .237 lifetime batting average.
I guess the Jays are going to be a great fade all year when Gibbons decides to tinker with lineups like he did again tonight.
Had the Jays kept the same lineup as last night, I don't know that they would be winning but they would definitely have some runs by now.
After tonight, the fade could be 2-0.
