When my horse crossed the finish line when I was nine years old and my Mom booked it..she paid me 6.40 to win minus the two dollar bet..made her buy me a hot dog and a coke...smooth sailing from there...1960 was the year and Atlantic City Race track was the venue...

Got hooked there as well. Traveling down the east coast in 1978, talked my girlfriend into stopping in Atlantic City.
There was an elderly well dressed black lady next to us who was cashing every race. We just followed her the rest of the way and made a couple hundred.

Two weeks later home and settled from vacation I went to Arlington Park.

I was around 12 years, when my father who was not a gambler, came home and said there was a football pool card going around work and he joined in for $5 cause he wanted to be one of the guys. He didnt know nothing about american football. He knew I watched games all the time and asked me to make the 14 picks against the spread. I went 12-2 the very first time. My father won and bought a big turkey and some earrings for my mom. He called me smart and I've been chasing that feeling since. No regrets... Looking forward to this Saturday night Sun Devils/Bears. If Zona wins, I'm buying a big turkey, if Zona loses... I'll be up half the night Capping next morning's NFL. :103631605

When I realised you could make an easy living following the right people (but not in the sense that most would think - I'm not talking about simply jumping on a hot capper on some public forum). I still believe this is true to an extent, I just haven't had much success with it and now prefer to do all my own work.

Been betting horses since I was a kid. Hit 5 out of 6 in a pick six at Caliente when I was eight years old. Been reading the form since ten LOL.

When I was a teenager I couldn't wait to be 21 so I could bet on sports. Thought I'd have to go with a local then cause internet wasn't too popular. Went to Vegas a lot between the ages of 17 and 20, got kicked out of almost every Racebook for not being old enough. Got an account with English Sports Betting after seeing a Jim Mcmahon advertisement in the form. Starting betting with them when I was 16.

Messed around with them until I got something in the mail from Bodog and I loved the fact that you can bet via the computer. It was so easy to deposit as well via my bank account.

Got really hooked when I discovered Pinnacle. God I miss that place......

Later for me when I was 22 and won over $37,000 with a local, I blew it all on women and clothes and gambling. I had to fuk over 30 black broads then and loved being a sugar daddy.

That is when I knew I liked the spotlight of being a high roller.
