Justo, like everything, they have their place. Mostly just to entice stooges to lose their money. One run games are a significant likelihood in baseball.
And... the +1.5 often comes at a prohibitive dollar price, so quite a risk there as well.
I did it a lot last year vs the Astros and it benefited me. I knew every 3 or 4th game on average they would get blown out. Same with Padres team total this year.
I only get pissed when my team blows a nice comfortable lead. Then I cheer for the other team even though my team is still capable of coming back and winning by two. My mental illness is hard to cover up sometimes.
When Betting on the Run-Line in Baseball, does it piss you off if the Team wins by 1 Run ? THIS IS A SPORTS BETTING FORUM, WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK??? of course it pisses you off why would anyone want to lose?
OBVIOUSLY if you're going to bet Run Lines wouldn't it be a great idea to pull up each team's results and see how often their Wins and Losses are by 2+ Runs? And then break it down to Road and Home?
For instance, what % of Braves Home Wins are by 2+? What % of Mets Road Losses are by 2+? Etc....
Hate it when I bet the home team on the run line, up by 2 or more runs going in to the top of the ninth and the other team comes back to within a run. Game over. home team wins but I lose. Always a risky play.
