Is there any thrill for them in betting a dollar on a game?

Thanks

No not on a single game but Futures and stuff are a different story. I usually bet at least a dime but My Futures play on the Spurs this year was for a dollar.

Sure.

A proven handicapper is one who can analyze a matchup and GRADE THE PLAY. If the outcomes follow his analysis, then it would only stand to reason some plays are stronger than others.

A probable side which receives a lower grade, recieves a lower wager.

Most of the dime players we deal with are at least "semi-sharp", and the others just for fun. Neither type plays for a buck much. Maybe the odd parlay or two.

No thrill at all. But a dumb square like me puts down a few bucks on parlays though.
It has to do with the winning amount. You just dont like to see a 100 win instead of a 1000 win. It feels like money lost instead of money won. Sick mentality

When you usually play a nickel or a dime a game, a $100 play isn't even worth staying up late to watch.

Dollar bets don't do anything for me...

The only time $1 bets are fun is to settle an argument with a friend... kinda like the two rich brothers in the movie Trading Places.

The braves total pushed and the Orioles game got postponed so instead of winning 2100 I won 370 and I wasnt even content. You should be happy anytime you beat the odds and win a parlay but when you dont win the amount you expected to win you just aren't happy. Again a sick mentality.

yes you can. I want to win 100 just as bad as the 1000. the only difference might be the matchup.

Remember the article I , and I believe someone else posted in the past about scientists proving gambling affects the brain almost identically the same way cocaine does? Well, it also mentioned that the more the person bet, the higher the reaction in the brain was when responding to the adrenaline.

I have bet anywhere from 50 cents to 5000 on a game, it all depends on my funds at the time, a bet is a bet. If a am desperate I will make a $1 10 parlay to try and build my bankroll. I cannot sleep with out having action.

Pretty much how i feel. When you wager an amount for a period of time & then go smaller, the intrigue is gone. The addiction is pretty awesome.

Sometimes though, if you lay off for a while, then the karma will come back with a smaller amount.
