Aaliyah's death has bothered me the most over the last ten years.

Only 22, this girl was destined to be the queen of pop music.

She was just getting started and cranking out tons of hits. What a voice.

Should throw Reagan in there too if thats your criteria.


An 82 year old Legend, Yes it was shocking ! Top Deaths should go by AGE ??? Since when ??

Plus I was in Las Vegas at the time, and it was the Only time Vegas ever turned off the Lights through out the city.

I guess I was hung up on the word shocking. I remember seeing him (on video) fall down on stage in Brazil near the end. Was definitely saddened, but didn't come out of no where like Lennon (or Elvis, or yesterdays)

Wasn't the only time they dimmed the lights. They did it when Reagan died too.


I don't remember them doing it for Reagan :think2:

i cant say any of the ones before i was born in 84 since i wasnt around.

i dont remember anything as big as this. 2 straight days of it being main page news, tribute shows tonight on major networks.
