#1 - Hugo's Cellar => Basement of 4Queens in Downtown (Glitter Gulch) area.
#2 - Picasso's => Water feature level of Bellagio's (small escalator down just off the main casino area).

Surprised nobody mentioned Picasso's yet as it has some of the best food in the world.

Prime Steakhouse at Bellagio is also very good.

For a burger you can't go wrong at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. Expensive but the burger is very juicy.

if you saw the back of the restaurant you would never eat there again. trust me. used to have to pass it once or twice a day to take the elevator up to surveillance on 2nd floor.

I rather liked that Chinese restaurant at Planet Hollywood -- PF Chang's, I think. We don't have that chain up here in Canuckistan. :(

What is it with you Canadians and PF Chang's? My friend's dad came down from Edmonton to visit for 2 weeks. He ate there 5 times! He said the chicken was so tender and didn't have any gristle in it. Most chicken in good restaurants taste like that to me.

Olive Garden. - Ok, just kidding.

For Mexican this place is awesome and the service is unbelievable no matter how busy they may be. The one on Carnegie Street is the best; Awesome views, great service, Excellent food, great bar, great place, priced right.

The Steak House at the California Casino is great....and reasonably priced, for a top-shelf steak house.

I am amazed at anyone who posts a chain restaurant when one of these threads are started. There are many great chain restaurants...but usually when this question is asked, people are wanting to hear something that is unique TO VEGAS (or where ever). That's like saying, "Where can I get good pizza in New York City?" And someone answers with, "Sbarro".....

Battista's Hole in the Wall... bottomless house wine & great food. Could've done without the hangover, but overall I love the place. Affordable too.

meatloaf and mashed potatoes at carnegie deli in mirage. stays open until 2 or 3 am and great food. usually eat late lunch and no supper and this is great after night of partying and gambling. be close to the bed after you eat cause it will knock you out like a hammer.

There are so many great Restuarants in Las Vegas that I would be at a loss pretty much to name one. However as a local I almost never go to any of the strip Restuarants because they are usually Pricey. There are so many great eateries off the strip and less $$.

BAGiant, I think you are right about the Redwood (at California). It's a very good steak house.

I've been to the Steak House at 4-Season's, Charlie Palmer's (I think). It was very nice...but too expensive. Great atmosphere though....
