For me... hands down... that tiny little airport in Colorado Springs. Easiest I ever dealt with, at least back in late 80's.

I did have a scare there once, but it worked out fine. True Story !

I used to smoke pot back then. I was taking my mother to airport, to return home to Ct. Naturally , I wanted to see her off, at the gate. I forgot I had a metal pipe on me (a Proto pipe, to be exact ). I go thru metal detector, damn thing goes off, then I remember I have this in my pocket ! Oh SHIT ! I also had keys and coins. Very fortunately by pulling keys and coins out of pockets, I passed on 2nd try. That scared the PISS out of me ! It would have been very embarassing to not be able to go to gate, and possible arrest.

I'm an athiest, but if there is a GOD, he helped me that day !

I no longer smoke dope, but that's because I outgrew it, at about age 35 or so. I'll never forget that spot I was in !

A landing on the old Hong Kong airport in the middle of the city was simply sensational.

TOP
Nice, France

BOTTOM
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (It takes one an hour to get to the city and one only sees unused land where they could have built the airport instead)

ATLANTA GEORGIA ROCKS!!!

I love this airport for 2 reasons. First off I am a smoker and they have smoking rooms all over the airport. Next everytime I am landing there is to switch to another plane so what rocks is you can go from terminal a to b to c or whatever with out having to go security check points which is a pain in the ass!!!Atlanta kicks ass!!!

Have to agree the Orlando is one good airport, especially when you are coming from colder climates in the winter time, those Palm trees do it for me too.

Chicago Midway has improved significantly over the last few years with a new Terminal..

Want to see a joke of a airport? Fly into Ottawa sometime LOL This is the nation's capital airport???

I'll tell you that a lot of people seem to mistake how Japanese keep to themselves in public for rudeness...cultural difference.

Long Beach (you can drive right up to the check in point and 5 minutes later be past security the walk is that short).

Orange County, CA (with no traffic - i can get there from home in about 10 minutes. mom/dad fly in/out of there all the time and to make that short drive as opposed to LAX is worth it. dropping off/picking up passenger is easy and ditto if you are flying out. only scary thing is take-off since you have to go straight up at about a 60-degree angle to make the neighbors happy).

Denver (lots of places to hang out at if you have to wait for a plane. the only bad part is it is in the middle of nowhere. if they dropped a nuclear bomb on the airport, the people in downtown denver would find out about it 4 days later - it is thaaaaaaaat far out of humanity).

BOTTOM

LAX (i DETEST this place. traffic sucks all the time and it is a nightmare).

Newark (everything is spaced out so far and if you have to change planes - odds are the 2 gates are on the other side of the airport. what a lousy place).

Charles De Gaulle, Paris (first off - you are in france - so we know the people are going to be rude. add int he fact most people there smell worse than 7 day old garbage left in the sun - and they all smoke - and this place sucks).

Any one I am flying into to start vacation (usually LAX). The one I hate is South Bend, meaning I'm home.

Least Favorite:
Charlotte - Huge, picture Atlanta airport minus the train that carries you from concourse to concourse. You have to walk miles it seems and at some points they even have you in the basement walking. Then you get to go outside and walk across the scorching hot pavement and board your plane. Haven't been through it in a while, thankfully. Absolute nightmare.

Honorable mention goes to Chicago O'Hare.
