Royal gives the impression that he has plenty of capital so I'd say 42k to him means no more than a couple of K to us? Enough to piss us off but not life changing.

No, it means a lot to me, just a stupid decision. I had about 8 different accounts with their family funded, and just didn't plan ahead wisely. Thought risk reward was there, as I always was able to beat them easily. I did beat their family for much much more than that, but it is extremely frustrating. The worst part about it was that it was a double wammy. Getting stiffed, and losing a very valuable income stream in the process.

RF,
I am always intirgued how guys that young (I am 36) get that kind of loot. I mean you are still going strong after a 42k bite. That's great.

This is all you do, no other job? how long you been betting? How did you get the bankroll (I know you hate that word) at that level. It just fascinates me as I have a very high income but 42k would cripple me. Just wondering what you story is if you dont mind (also I am pretty bored on a boring saturday). If you dont want to answer I respect that also.

Back when I was an agent in the early nineties, stiffed for all amounts, the biggest at 46,000....and used to be a good friend, go figure....I paid every cent of it to the book that was owed....no bullshit, a few posters here can verify my debts....

All right here it is. Was a manager at Ameritrade and got caught in a corporate layoff about 6 years ago. Turned out to be the best thing for me financially as I was not making a hell of a lot there and was struggling to make much progress. Had about 10k to my name at that point.

Started wagering strictly on golf. Obviously could not wager huge at that point so grinded out profits. Hit a couple long shots to allow me to wager a little bigger and gradually built my roll up. Made about 35k the first full year so still had to be pretty careful.

Then in a span of a year or so, I hit a 15k marlin to win NL future the Bartman year, hit for 10k with no risk on dumb and dumberer going under the number at the box office(thanks BOS), and won 27k in a poker tourney on the internet. This allowed me to fund many more books(collecting nice bonus money in the process) and allowed me to find a lot more off the wall lines.

At this point I was able to max out the most positive expectation wagers instead of having to bet a little defensively and the rest is history after I got to that point. Made a killing for a three year stretch. It was efficient wagering at its finest.

In addition, this will sound kind of dorky, but I don't care as they are great profitable endeavors for me. I am by far and away the best fantasy sports player in the world. I have won 9 national fantasy sports competetions that ranged from 10k to 50k in payouts. Tons of other high finishes also that did not result in wins. This money also went overseas and allowed me to really have a nice arsenal of books.

However, those that think that the bos 42k didn't hurt are mistaken. As will the 77k at neteller if they don't pay.

also owe a good chunk of appreciation to a poster on another forum in my early days for increasing my roll. He was an unbelievable formula 1 capper and I bet large in relation to my roll on his plays. He had the avatar I use today and use it as a tribute of appreciation to that fella.

With Royalfan, we have a professional advantage gamber that got the shaft. With the bonus whore thieves crying stiff, we have a bunch of OJ's accusing someone of murder.

Iceman, you should wander around the financial world of Manhattan. It is downright scary, the number of guys in their late twenties to early forties making 7-8 figure incomes.

I believe a key to wealth is making money with other peoples' money.
