The one I really remember a lot and it was a pretty nice chunk I had riding...it was like a 4200 swing...

I had won one side of the bet and just needed a 1-2-3 (or no runs actually) 9th inning, in last years World Series.....I was all set to win 4,200 when Larry Walker hits a one out homer off Kieth Foulke who was just grooving fastballs to get the game over....2 outs away from 4,200...it was pretty tough to watch that ball sail out....instead of winning 4,200 I lost 200...tough one...

8K, 2 years ago with Pitt +5 at home against V Tech who had just come off beating Miami @ V Tech. A classic revenging home dog with rest against a team coming off a big home victory . Pitt led all the way. 7.5 k with Auburn-3 against GA last year. Auburn was a 3 pt fav at home with rest and Ga was playing their FOURTH straight road game. Auburn beat the Dawgs till they cried and then beat them some more for crying! God, I LOVE college football! I have a stirring in my loins just writing this post. LT

made my biggest was on Mich - 2or3 pts against UCLA in NCAA tourney game about 9 or 10 yrs ago. Tractor Trailor was whistled for 3 quick ones about 2mins into the game(2 were really iffy/touch fouls). Mich was down 16 at half and I put half my wager on the 2nd half mich -8, 30 secs in Trailor gets called for an off the ball foul for his 4th. at this point i'm screaming fix as trailor was their main man, hehe. 2nd half came down to louis bullock who was 2-18(or something close) for the game hitting a meaningless 3 at the buzzer to cover the 2nd half by a pt. even with hitting the 2nd half spread it still was my largest loss on a single game, coulda been worse. learned another lesson on why not to chase when down tho.

$4,000 is biggest ever for me. Bet that amount several times last season. Will bet that amount frequently this season if I sell some stocks before football starts.

$10 8 team torture teaser at Skybook paid $100,000

hit the first 6, pushed on the seventh, so the $10 would still cash $30,000 if I could win the 8th game.

Over on the Cardinals/49ers in Arizona

O/U was 41 but I had to have it go over 48. Teams score two touchdowns in the first 5 minutes of the game. TO catches a 3rd TD with 5 minutes left in the first quarter, I'm looking golden but Arizona challenges the TD and it is overturned. Arizona misses the first of 5 missed field goals for the game(a record for the year I believe) the two teams combine for only 30 pts. for the game after the crazy start. Had I picked the Under instead of the over I would have won $30,000.

BTW- the teams played later in the season and the O/U was 41 but the final score was in the 60's.:monsters-

OUCH, Coolbreeze!! Did you have the opportunity to place a wager on the UNDER before the game or did some of the others of your 8 team parlay play concurrantly? If they hadn't you could have put a LOAD (whatever you could have mustered up) on the Under and assured yourself a profit. I'm sure you would have done that if you could have.... Man, that is a sad moment! tulsa
