What's the point of the NBA? Only 3-4 teams have a chance to win the title.

while it sucks there are few contenders, you cannot argue that you won't see the best product the nba has to offer in the conference finals

that's what i like about the nba. the matchups that matter most don't disappoint.

NBA has a huge problem that the bad teams are undesirable places for these star players to live and play due to management and crappy weather. So even if drafted the countdown to free agency clock starts immediately. Barring hitting the lotto like OKC w KD/Westbrook, Teams like Minnesota, Utah, Cleveland, Charlotte, etc, have no chance.

bingo.

Barkley is a clown but he made a good point about state of the league. The bad teams have become obsessed with drafting unpolished players or projects who leave to free agency after they refine their games. Basically they have become farm teams for the desirable markets. They will pass on a four year guy like Lillard who already developed his game and take the tall guy with 1 year exp playing organized basketball.
