Ahh, I am new to this forum but not to gambling. I have made a good career out of gambling, and it is an investment. (If you put money into something and see a consistent return on that money, isn't that an investment?)
If you are in the vast majority of gamblers, I am sure the investment aspect would be b.s. because you are supporting the books and not earning a return.

99% of the people who post / visit this forum, gamble. its a gambling forum, of course they gamble. if they didnt gamble today, then they will when they can. not everyone gambles every single day, but that doesnt mean "they dont gamble". . .if they didnt gamble at all, they wouldnt come here becuase they wouldnt know what the hell we were talking about half the time.

Even the best gamble at times. Everyone has an outlet for their gambling, the key is not to have it be as big or bigger than their "investments". Rare is the person who was a winning long term player that had no hobby game. I personally go out and play craps once in awhile for small stakes. It is fun and definitely gambling, and I acknowledge it as that.
Have money, will gamble.......
And YES, I'm on the plus side OR VERY VERY CLOSE TO EVEN in the long run......
