if you're highly regarded in August and you don't fuck up, you're in the championship game
and if you're highly regarded, then everyone around you gets more respect and it all evolves into a self fulfilling prophecy
it's not like March Madness, where winning 7 years in a row would be much more impressive
there are far fewer obstacles to overcome in football, and the system makes sure the best teams will be reluctant to play quality OOC opponents just to stay in the hunt

I actually think Missouri will beat Auburn. I thought Missouri would beat Bama. I don't think MSU beats Ohio St. though. And while Duke has had a season for the ages, they're not gonna do in FSU. FSU will make it to the title game REGARDLESS of Winston's legal BS.
Speaking of that Winston stuff.... I think he WILL be charged. Whether or not FSU allows him to play is another story.

I don't think MSU set up to defend OSU very well. I know the popular belief is they have this elite defense, but tOSU just needs to spread them out and run Hyde/Miller. If they sell out, Miller has big play ability in the passing game. I don't think MSU can keep up even if OSU's D is just average.

Good points about Winston, but I have no idea where you are coming from by saying that he would face a really good D playing Ohio State????? I have watched them play the last 4 weeks and the Buckeye D is terrible.
