2001 fiesta bowl....put 5k on the beavers layin 3' against nd....pretty much everything i had to my name at that moment in my life....lookin back i laugh at how reckless one's youth can be....needless to say i was very confident in my pick b4 the game and actually never sweated...even up 9-3 or 12-3 at half(fergot which one?) the beaver were dominating nd with their team speed and then an explosion in the 3rd quarter put the game away...41-9 final....pretty good receivers the beavers had that year...maybe u heard of them....
Biggest loss was when I was booking. A MNF game between Steelers and Jags. Last minute of game and Steelers had cover. Went to kick a fg on 4th down and only way I lose is a block returned for TD. Of course it happened. Cowher almost ran on field to tackle Jax player. Wish he had. A 6 figure swing for my week. I pulled an Elvis and shot my tv.

When FSU looked bad early I loaded up on the moneyline on Matchbook live-betting.
I'm a huge FSU fan and had lost my ass all weekend and was chasing. Had to take 2+ months off after that one as I'm usually a $50 bettor.

Most on a single game - Pats +11.5 or +12 in 10 point teasers vs the Saints this year. I had a wheel of 8 or 9 teams in 3 team teasers. All of the other 7 or 8 had hit. I don't recall the exact numbers, but the Pats losing was about a $88,000 swing. I think it was about $41-42,000 had they won. Good thing was I had won the other 7 or 8 so the week was a winning one, but that one hurt. I thought about hedging. Was actually on a plane all day and was very close to putting 10-20k on the Saints at Matchbook, but chose not to do so. OUCH

Back in 1988 when i was much younger and much greener i had a scamdicapper service called kevin duffy's point spread consultants , after winning 6 consecutive bets at 500$ they talked me in to betting 5k on a unlv basketball game. The line they gave me was -7 , but the locals i was playing with had it at -9. Unlv won by 9 giving me a push , but they thought i had won and wanted me to send another 1200 to upgrade my account , when i told them i could'nt b/c i pushed they thought i was lying and they unleashed an all out attack on me. ... i had to change my phone # to get away from them.
