I feel your pain. I had a HUGE play for me under for the game and also on both team totals. Unbelievably frustrating game. Not a good way to start the NBA season getting absolutely screwed like this.

soccer, with these scenarios

1. You have +1.5 handicap and your team is already down by 1 with 45 minutes left to play.

2. the game is 1-1 during the 80th minute and you have the under.

3. You have +0.5 handicap and your team is playing from behind early.

soccerstand.com, where heart attacks come true.

I know what you're saying wildemu. I can't tell you how many goals I've seen in injury time that causes my bet to go over. Liverpool scored in the 89th minute today to cause me to lose.

I've had only 1 goal in the 90th minute that helped me win my bet and that was with Lyon last week.

For me it is definitely hoops as the amount of point swings in the games and the importance of late game free throws makes it much more difficult to watch then football or baseball.

Definitely Hoops, whether Pro or College, incredible luck-job wins and horrific bad-beats..not for the faint of heart.

One last thing about that debacle. How in the hell did Phoenix blow that 17 point lead in the first place. Everything had to work itself out just exactly perfect both OT's to lose.

Soccer for me in the following situation.

The worst is when you play "no next goal" in "in play" in about the 79th minute and a goal by either side kills you at about -300. Good thing the odds are that it doesn't happen in a game all that often with expectations of less than 2.5 total goals in 90 minutes.

Still given the juice involved it's the most teeth grinding 12 or 13 minutes of sports action I go through.
Freethrows are only several seconds of agony.

Basketball NBA or College are tuff for me to watch, not to mention basseball.

Seems like 90% of baseball games are deceided in the 8th or 9th. NBA maybe more % than the 90 are surely deceided in the lat 2 mintues. Love to watch the last 1 minute of mose NBA games, strange stuff there sometimes.

NBA is definitely the hardest to watch. You live and die with every shot, turnover, call etc.

I can watch any sport out there when I have a bet going except for the NBA. I was a subscriber to the NBA package on Directv for the last 4 seasons but dropped it this year because I simply cant watch an NBA game that im betting on anymore. Way too many lead swings. Way too many momentum shifts. Way too many backdoor covers and bad calls for my taste. It seems like the last 1:30 of a game decides 95% of these games anyway no matter how the first 46.5 mins went.

.

wouldnt this be the very reason you watch the game????

when i put money on Pennstate-18 and they score 40 unanswered by the end of half time, why in the world would i continue to watch that???

On the other hand, if i have money a game where the lead is going back and forth, fumbles and turn overs, bad calls and the like, why would i want to change the channel???

What you are saying doesnt make much sense!!!! I am a gambler first by my love for the sport i gamble on comes in a close second otherwise i wouldnt risk a penny on it!!! (i dont bet on base ball because i cant stand watching that shit!!! dont like it never have and never will!!!)

No question about it..........definitely the NBA because of the back and forth lead changes and momentum swings. The other 3 major sports don't have as much scoring so if your ahead in the game you can relax for a while.........

NBA, you can be winning them all and looking good, to 10 minutes later be losing them all and feeling ill....

The hardest to watch are the NBA unders...rooting for no baskets for 2.5 hours, no fun.
