Figured I'd ask around on here, my local guy charges 10% juice..thoughts?

ive always paid 1%, tell your local guy to charge you 1% or else.....hes cheating you. lol.

Some sites offer "happy hours" where juice is reduced to 5% at certain times, but generally speaking 10% is the standard.

10% is standard juice. It is the -110 that you see so often next to a spread. Occasionally you will see the juice get heavier if there is a lot of action on a number, for example, -115 or -120 etc. Sometimes they set the juice high, right out of the gate, if they anticipate heavy public action on a given side. That way it costs you more to make the same. But 10% or -110 is very standard when it comes to betting spreads.
