a 10% bonus is equal to one no-juice play

let's say you make five rollovers, so one fifth of your action is without juice

who cares?

How is a ten percent bonus equal to ONE no juice play? Maybe if you are only depositing two units. Anyone who cannot see how a 10% bonus can build your bankroll is not thinking hard enough.

If you are playing 1% bankroll per bet, and deposit $5000...your bonus is $500 which is 10 units. How can you not like starting the season off up 10 units?

Do players consider the safety and security of their money in calculating the "value" of a bonus.

What is an extra 10% or even 50% really worth, if there is no real safeguard over your deposit and subsequent winnings?

silver7,

Good point as I see that an attractive proposition. I am not big on the 10-20% cash up front.

Thanks

Free 1/2 pts & Sun. FB lines?

that half point will rarely come in handy, unless they allow you to use it on and off of 3 and 7

so if that perk only applies up to $500/wager, I'd ignore it

if it applies to any amount, it would definitely be enough to sway me to a book if all else were equal

but how often is all else equal? a book giving this out will find a way to exact a pound of flesh some other way

what are "Sun. FB lines"?

if there's a 5X rollover, you still have to roll over your BR 500 units

if you're only getting 1/50th of that in bonus money, I don't see the attraction
