doesnt everybody have a law degree.
not worth that much any more.

medical doctor on the other hand is always going to be in demand, and is much more difficult and time consuming to earn.

I used to live in a neighborhood filled with doctors and lawyers, then we moved to a nice neighborhood.

I posted a thread on here last summer about my place of employment looking for an engineer. We are still looking! We have had many good prospects and even made a few offers but none were taken. Not because they were not good offers, but just not as good as others that the prospects could find. Bottom line is there are many engineering jobs out there and not enough good engineers to go around. I can't speak for medical or law, but engineering would be a good field for anyone to enter. Lots of good opportunities out there if you look. Probably wont make as much as a dr or lawyer, but opportunities are probably greater...

This.

There is a shortage of Engineers today because young people lack math skills and a the general curiosity of what makes things work.

I think there's more opportunities with a law degree than with the others. Plus what if we end up with a health care system like Canada? The dr.s up there don't make what our medical dr.s do. Seems like so many more fields one can enter with a law degree as opposed to a medical degree.

I would pick Medical. You can go anywhere and find a job. Always in demand. Never heard of an out of work Doctor before

I did not think about this..... Health care system changes that are coming could be real problems for doctors

He'll....everyone in the medical field is nervous about their future in that reguard. For a long time now too.

scocialized health care is a quick fix for our economy if that day were to come.

But the medical field is like NRA members. Not on their watch and never without a fight for their lives.
