I personally think the NFL is a sucker bet, Vegas knows these 32 teams like the back of their hands. On the other hand, their are 120 division 1-A college football teams that Vegas has to come up with lines with each and every week, which gives us the bettor more options to pick up on mislines and mismatches. I don't know, I've always had more success betting college football, What do you guys think???
it's not even close, college football. More players, more variance between quality of players, WAY higher turnover of plays, and way bigger number of teams with more seperation between them
NFL changes are so gradual Vegas is on top of them and can anticipate them well.
NFL is easier to the casual fan for the same reasons, because of the relative consistency from year to year, but they end up doing poorly becuase of underrating the attrition in the NFL.

NFL takes me less than 2 hours and I look at every game, and all of the games each team has played
NCAA takes me 70-80 hours a week for the first 5-6 weeks and I look at almost every game, and all of the games each team has played.
NCAA is much more time consuming. When College basketball starts I have to get wasted to deal with all the info or I go nutso.
I typically make more on pro sports than college, I'm probably one of the few that thinks it easier to beat the NBA and NFL than colleges, but I also beat NHL, baseball, WNBA and my girlfriend's mom.
