I think most people would look at Bosworth differently after watching this video:

Here is the entire Bosworth segment from the Oklahoma Legends DVD. Interesting to watch, for any fan of college football.

Did Boz lose all his money? For the time, I'm sure his contract was as big as anyone's. He was out of the league within 3 years, right? Never signed a second NFL deal?
Boz only played two years in the NFL because of two chronically bad shoulders that never healed, but he's made his money in other ventures. He's still worth millions. I could really care less what he did in the NFL. He was a phenomenal LB in college. One of the best that I've ever seen..

GoSooners, I do realize you're a great OU supporter but you do realize Boz has less career tackles than guys like EJ Henderson, Chad Greenway and Barrett Ruud right?

He was a lot of flash and sometimes not a lot of substance.

You obviously didn't see as much of him in college as I did on a weekly basis. Whether he was credited with tackles or not, he could disrupt a game more than any one defensive player that I've seen at OU. Roy Williams is the only player that would probably give him a run for his money. He was literally all over the field. I could really care less about the opinions of him on this board. You don't become a two time Butkus Award winner and AA if you have no substance.

Brian Bosworth explains in the video what it was like trying to tackle Bo Jackson. Bo had power-strength and ran like a stolen Mack Truck.

What is Boz ashamed of? What are the things he did that he's talking about? I was a very young kid and don't remember.

I remember during a bowl game he was suspended for steroid use and on the sidelines he wore a headband that said NCAA: National Communists Against Athletes. That didn't go over well.

The big knock against him was that he was a shameless self promoter and a "me, me, me" guy rather than a team player.

Well obviously not I guess. We'll just defer to you on all matters related to OU football from here on out. My fault.

I remember his mother saying something like 'Brian was our third child if he was the first he'd be our only one"
