bonds a non factor?

you can't be serious.

.214 avg. 0 hr's, 1 rbi.

those stats are for a #4 hitter! non-factor.

there is no way he is helping the team. he's got 1 rbi...1! no one has even mentioned how having an outfielder who cant run is "helping" the team.

And if they had an average hitter, they may have the best record in the league.

they're still treating him like its 2002. wait until they stop doing that and pitch to him. he'll start popping up and grounding into double plays. you'll see...

Dude cant claim he is the man this year until he starts performing...I agree he is currently a non factor....He head will begin to shrink as fast as his average and then he wont even have his own show anymore...:nopityA:

Say hey kid ended badly.

It is still the first three weeks of the season and he missed three weeks of pre-season....if he is not producing by June it just might be a june swoon.

HE IS 4th in the NL in OBP
Not because of his hitting, because managers are still ordering he be pitched around and intentionally walked. Unless he picks up his game, which is possible but right now it's in the dumps, he will stop getting that sort of respect. Unless his AVG increases significantly his OBP is gonna plummet in a few weeks.

Report just in from Colorado.

The thin air enlarged Bonds head another four sizes.

As Elaine Benes from Seinfeld would say, "He's a walking candy apple."

Great OBP but poor average, poor slugging percentage, no speed, marginal defense and a good arm. All things considered, he's a stiff.
