No need to apologize, we were all there "once upon a time". It's a great time in life. Some day you will look back and realize how great.

Remember, you are doing nothing wrong or illegal, that roll goes to the bad old bookies. Also, no matter what, the IRS is only a gov. agency. If you have proper (almost anything photo copied or in writing) documentation you are covered. They cannot eat you --- that would be illegal.

The most important thing here really is that beautiful bank teller I made reference to.

P.S. 80% of the stuff you worry about never comes to pass. Relax.

Fact: Less than 1% of people making $40,000 a year get audited by the IRS. Last year, only 0.6% of people making less than $40,000 got an IRS audit.

A 19-year old college student like yourself getting audited? The IRS has bigger fish to fry. Enjoy your winnings, I wouldn't worry. But it's good to see you're on your toes.

Yeah I feel you I am just nervous I just want to get this over with. I think it would be best to third party the two smaller checks and put it off on someone else and it won't be my problem anymore. I already got my cut so that doesn't worry me at all.

Well I want to gamble on the side my whole life. I feel I can make on average about 15-20k a year gambling but I am at an all time high right now, these last two years have been great so I know I can start losing as quickly as I won it. So I want to stay honest because I know I will have an honest job and so will my wife when I am older so I don't want to get off on the wrong foot.

And I plan on reporting all my funds in the future so I don't want to have them look back and have suspicion... If there is anymore input I would really appreciate it... I am just trying to get this solved.

And after all of this I figure I am just going to third party the two smaller checks....

Look, if you want kill two birds with one stone, you and your bud take the 17K check to the Mustang Ranch. I'm sure they will gladly cash it and give you a day or two to remember for the rest of your lives.

What are your withdrawl options, what book is it and can you still withdrawl in a lesser amount? I would break it up at the very least...I believe only cash over 10K has to be reported by the bank..this is what I have read and been told by my banks many times....is Western Union an option?

It is Sportsbook.com and due to all the recent problems the only ways are directly through the bank. I think we will stop payment on the check and ask them to issue two checks one of 9k and one of 8500.

If you do that...maybe you could deposit into two seperate accts...you mentioned u were depositing into someone elses acct anyway...depositing two large checks won't be much different if they go in together...I am still not even certain it's reported.

keep us posted.

Yeah I am going to third party check both checks and have two other people deposit it into there accounts so it has no show in my bank because I am only 19 and a deposit of that size out of no where into a bank i don't use often is suspicious in general so I feel I should probably avoid it.
