Or if the refs had the balls to correctly call goaltending on Gasol (you can't put your hand through the basket and whack the rim while the ball is above the cylinder... that's goaltending.)

Are you kidding. That little accidental touch of the rim had absolutely no effect on the ball. The layup was way too hard. No chance in hell would it ever drop.

Really doesn't matter if it was or wasn't going to drop. I don't believe you can touch the rim while the ball is above the cylinder (which it was).

this is true but why take the game out of the hands of the players when what gasol did doesnt even affect the result of the shot?

he didn't stick his hand through the rim like you said, he slightly tapped it...

plus howard did the same thing... so if ANYTHING, they're even.
