To be a great front-runner. When the pressure is on, you make excuses for not finishing the job.

I agree completely. He has determined that he can "decide" which part of a player he wants to be at any given time. Last night he was aggressive and dominant on offense in the first half...... like they obviously need him to be to win. Second half...... he went "CHICKEN SHIT" and wanted to play "distributor". That resulted in limiting the Cavs greatly on scoring and LePuss made decisions which resulted in many turnovers...... and a loss for the Cavs. Of course, he is a piss-poor defender. I don't know if it is simply lack of skills or just laziness. He will make the very occasional great defensive play..... when it is a gimme or he can Pearle Harbor someone from the blind side.

They might win a game... or even two. But no way they win this title. LePuss will be shopping and crying for more stars to surround him next year. AND..... more help to take him off the hook for being expected to perform in GOAT fashion. He may be the "Greatest Front-Runner" of all time.

Talking heads are saying that LePuss "ran out of gas" before mid 3rd quarter.

Actually he ran out of character and effort..... like he has before.

really talented and really tough but also really soft?

One thing about not going to college, you never played for a really good coach that you had to listen too

LeBron went from a high school coach to being a spoiled NBA brat that could get coaches fired

PS: and I'm not disrespecting him when I say "spoiled NBA brat", that's the norm

Not a LeBron fan, but was always blown away by his ability to wear the proverbial crown. Christ, they were annoiting this guy as the next coming when he was like 12-13 years old. That is usually a disaster for any athlete, let alone a child. Yet, he delivered, and delivered big, all while seemingly being able to keep it together off the court. I'm not sure there is any other athlete in a comparable situation, where it worked out? Gretzky would probably be the only one, as he was hyped at superstar status when he was nothing more than a child.

I know many don't like his politics, which is fine, or don't like the decision or whatever they labeled it as, which was incredibly stupid. However, the guy is a model for making through when everything was stacked against him on the biggest scale imaginable. Everything under a microscope, unlimited money, unlimited forces pulling you the wrong direction, yet he managed to wade through, even at a young age an became the best player in the league, by a long shot.

LeBron has never been the best player in the league "by a long shot."

The hate for one of the greatest athletes of our lifetime and a class act to boot is really strange.

That's a fair argument. I would agree there are certain seasons in his career where he wasn't the best player in the league, but over the course of his career it's tough to say he hasn't been the best player and I don't think it's really that close of a discussion.

I don't know how much hate there is in this thread. What don't you agree with?

You didn't read through the multiple silly 3rd grade nicknames given to him in this thread and every other thread where his name is mentioned? It's fine, I just find it really strange. It's like people want to hate just to hate.
