Anytime is fine with me, but a few suggestions would be not to have it during the SuperBowl or March Madness if you're looking for a big turnout, most won't go due to the increase in prices during those times.

Dante...did people not like having it in August dates last year? There was a Sports Betting Festival (sportsbettingfestival.com) and a BoDog party the following week after the RX party in August. If everyone coordinates, this could be a huge gathering.

As for April/May, those work, too (and baseball is under way), though HateTheRiverCard's point would also apply to Kentucky Derby.

when its hot in Las Vegas, it really doesnt matter. I spend 99% of the time in my rent a car or in a casino. if its 110 degrees outside it does not matter.

you can go to the pool and get a tan. Las Vegas in the summer heat is better than in the winter when it does get cold. Either way you spend very little time in the outside, as a tourist, at least in the summer heat you can go to the pool and bask in the sun for a while.

SUMMER TIME DURING THE NBA PLAYOFFS WOULD BE GREAT. THERE WILL BE LIMITED NBA ACTION STILL GOING ON, AND HOPEFULLY THE SHRINK WILL HAVE PLENTY OF CHOCOLATE CHIPS TO LEND

I kind of like Tuley's idea, just leave it in August again. If other things in the sports betting industry are happening we can tie it all together. Mostly though I want to make it a regular event every year, the same week-end so folks can plan. I didn't even notice the heat the last trip, must have had a fan blowing on me at the craps table or something. Also for folks who play in the Hilton they can take care of that business while they are out there as well.

April is perfect weather and good time of year sports-wise. August is always subject to vacation plans for people living in Vegas as on any given weekend about 25% of the residents get the hell out of town that month.

Any time after March Madness and before pre-season football would be great! Preferably not first Saturday in May.

Those dates would be a lot better for anyone running their own shop.

I agree with Wild Bill. Many Las Vegas residents go out of town in August to beat the heat!
