I'm not very upto date on all of the websites in this line. But across the street, there is some posting about a webite named SBR and that they "downgraded" WSEX and Grande. I don't know anything about Grande; but to downgrade WSEX sounds like this is a total JOKE for a sportsbook review to me.

SBR is more-or-less a disturbing S&M bondage between Buzzsaw (owner) & Willy (servant) ...

oh, they occasionally rate sportsbooks too

Nobody in this industry is perfect, but SBR proves to be one of the more objective "watchdogs" that I've encountered.

If WSEX is not of the very highest tier of reputable books--then I think Ralph Nader will will in November.

It's not clear what they are talking about over there. The jist of what I read is some type of "payoff".

SBR..Its a organization that I cannot figure out either..I feel they have been quite unfair with my book..When I email them they ignore my correspondence..

I know my feelings about my ratings are bias and one sided, but they act in a vigilante mode..Several times I have asked for explanations and clarity on my rating, all these have fallen on deaf ears..

There work at times seems vital to a industry that suffers from regulatory problems..its a great concept, and everyone cannot be satisfied..I thought my claim was one that at least should be heard..

I was WRONG..I will continue to try to get my ratings improved by being a vital book to my customers..

George--You are right about the industry I am sure.
But any downgrading of a book should be clear. For instance: "booting winners". Now I have no problem with that if done in a clear and uniform way. But this industry is run on advertising dollars. Look at Sportsbetting.com on this website. Allways up top with the flashing lights etc. Yet--you will read over and over and over again about the hassle people have on getting paid. They don't say no pay or slow pay---They use hassle and that's exactly IMHO what it is with all the nonsense!

I dont know how the downgrading works but the upgrading works like this....

You pay them
You go up
You pay them
You go up..

Pretty good guys I'd say...

Forgive Slim, he worked at a slow pay book that SBR caught onto and downgraded, they never recovered. He could be a little bias

. SportsBettingTrivia.com had slow pays and can't understand why we are hard on them

. Funny guys these bookmakers.

Neither WSEX or Grande was downgraded. If they were they would appear in the Upgrade/Downgrade section.

No site is perfect and I certainly don't claim SBR to be. We do our best to educate players who is the best and who are the scams. I think the reviews are pretty good too but like Slim, I could be a little bias.

Buzzsaw..I admitted in open forums I had problems and they were solved..I also admitted that the mistakes were mine and part of a new environment that I was hoping to master..

On the other hand all I tried to do was put myself on track with my customers and regulating bodies like yourselves..Every approach I made went ignored..Not nice..

All I ask is for you to have a open mind..Many months ago my book satisfied all its players..I take full responsibility..

I consider myself a pro..My players know my fabric..My SBR rating was quite harsh..Maybe, in the near future SBR can review my case again..

Forgive Buzz, he works based on incoming monies that books give him to get upgraded at his site. When someone that works at a book that he claims has CLOSED contacts him in every way possible to prove that they are up and running but gets ignored, one questions the integrity of such a site........

Then again, you're site was exposed a long time ago. I just like to make sure that those that werent here when you got exposed know the truth....

You're right, you could be biased.

I used to defend SBR and thought it was a worthwile site. Now it seems to be mainly about money and comparing the size of his dick vs everyone else.

Lander my friend ...I must say here that IMO, I doubt Will is being lead around blindly. The guy has class and is a good guy...

sbr seems like a decent site to me. how can you argue with most of the books that have B or higher ratings. if you review them it seems like they are the one's who deserve to be highly rated because oh... you know they do that little thing called paying people the money that they have coming. i have absolutely no and i mean no sympathy for slow or no pay books. if you go into business and either don't know what you're doing or don't have enough capital that is not sbr's fault, its not the players fault, its YOUR fault. as i read these forums the people that usually have a problem with sbr are almost without exception people who presently have or have had in the past something to do with slow pay books. that's just the way it is.

JimmyD..

I agree with everything you say..Sometimes though you enter a grey area where something happens that you need to correct..

In business, people hit road bumps..But, where there is smoke there is fire..

I dont know what business you are in, but its just not a perfect world..

My company made some mistakes that we have corrected and we are moving forward..I ask SBR to be fair..Thats all..

One thing for sure..There are enough bonified books out there to play at..Once you get a bad rating its tough enough for any book to bounce back..At least those that try deserve a decent opportunity..

John ( sbr ) is a gentleman, this above anything else. His web site isn't perfect, but definitely amongst the best ones out there.
