If you just assume they would be favored to beat any NL team, it should have been at least +3000 but no more than +4000.

I know of someone who laid -1800 thinking books were stupid for even offering it - and truth be told, many books never offered it.

The Yankees were around -450 after winning the first two games.

Dont be so sure that THE SHRINK won anything, he was probably just HEDGING other bets he had on the Yankees or something, anyone can post a ticket on these forums, doesnt mean they actually won anything.

Hedge or not, that's still big money he would not have had otherwise.
