Since no one started this thread yet....

- Bama is the top dog right now. Very impressive.

- The rest of the SEC was "meh".

- Some very surprising results, close games, upset.
- Miss State losing to South Alabama
- 1AA teams beating D1 teams

- Ohio State is legit; most yards in school history.

- Michigan played FIVE different QBs and NINE different RBs.

- Florida still has no Offensive Line.

- What does everyone make of Tennessee?

- UGA looks like the best in the East so far.

- I was surprised Auburn held Clemson to less than 20.

- I'm impressed w/ Charlie Strong's turnaround at Texas.

Now that Charlie Strong is on a regimen of Salt Peter (Potassium Nitrate) that will allow him to leave the women alone, he might be on the verge of turning the Longhorn program around. I realize the season is very young, "one win does not a season make", but that victory over an ambitious ND team didn't hurt.

Can we only imagine what the practice week at Norman will be like after that pitiful Sooner effort against Houston.

Are the Badgers a "sleeper" team that could play the "spoiler" roll in the Big (10)? Poor Les Miles, his hemorrhoids will be flaring-up again.

It's going to be a long season in college football guys.

Outside of Bama, and what do we really know about USC, the SEC struggled majorly.
LSU is as horrid as ever on offense and Miles is a dead man walking..... I know I will take some heat for the but Fournette is overrated.
Stoops at Kentucky has to be in DEEP shit, blew a 35-10 lead to USM, the entire team looked like it was sleepwalking the 2nd half.
Houston might have the clearest path to the playoffs as of today.

Florida St was very impressive and Jimbo Fisher showed a lot of confidence in his team after playing so poorly in the first half. I thought his pregame speech went too long also.

Anyone else notice how Francois refused to make eye contact with Fisher when Fisher was preaching to him on the sideline?
FOLLOW THE $$$ I could give ya at least 4-6 games that were easy prey if ya followed the line movement, never as obvious as this past weekend.
Most of the prognosticators for this season are full of shit and the rankings in the next 2-3 weeks will cement that thought.

Is Jimbo becoming known for his halftime adjustments or motivational speeches? Maybe we should look up his 2nd half ATS record

His second half record when going to the locker room in a deficit is off the charts, makes great adjustments.

That come back was very impressive. I think Jimbo did make some great adjustments and the turn around was as good as it gets. Florida St will be a contender and I think they will improve from week to week and get off to better starts.
