CAL 35 - San Diego St 7
I'm bullish on Cal and I mentioned this during discussions in the summer. I'm not surprised that Cal won, but to win by 28 and throw for 300+ against a good SDSU secondary was very surprising. Aztecs returned 3 starters from a pretty good secondary last year. Watch out Texas, Cal is coming to Austin next week with and they are bringing "Mo" with them

Ole Miss 73 - Fresno 21
Again, not that they won the game, but they dominated a pretty decent MW conference team. Fresno had some players coming back and they never got off the bus in this game. Miss looks like the best team in the sec after 2 weeks. Cant wait to see how many points they are getting next week against Bama.

Didn't see the Ark/Tol game but that was what I heard on Satellite Radio. Very surprising. If they can't push around Toledo, just wonder how they fare in SEC

Fresno State is a decent MWC team? What year are you living in? 2005? They are awful and have been for years. Huge Freeze likes to run it up on teams (and hide behind the bible after the game). I wouldn't put too much stock into running it up on UT Martin and Fresno State.

You mean other than Auburn? Several SEC games surprised me: Florida, Arkansas, fizzou. Baylor started slow but pulled away eventually. BC had 62 at half time... you don't see that every Saturday.

Mine was surprised that Auburn won. Jacksonville State is a tremendous powerhouse. I expected them to win the game and Auburn coming back and winning in the fashion that they did showed just what a great team auburn is and why we should go ahead and crown them with the national championship now.

A shout-out has to go to Houston who went on the road for the first time under new coach Tom Herman and pantsed L'ville who obviously choked on a double decker Auburn\Clem sandwich. Can't believe I did not bet this game, but thought it opened way too low. A case where the power ratings can work against you.
