You can make a case for the eagles 2 years ago .
Basically got hot and barely made the playoffs .
Were underdogs in every single playoff game and the super bowl .
And beat a team in the NFC championship game who got there on a fluke play .

And they have been pretty much garbage ever since .

We don't agree often but this is dead on

Those Eagles are living proof that momentum exists and a team can get hot at the most opportune time

The Eagles were the best team in the NFL from Week 1 until after the Superbowl. I think they were 10-1 and smashing teams every week. Then the they were 13-2 until losing to Cowboys in week 16 resting every single starter where they got shutout 6-0.

Easily the best team of the regular season that year with Wentz as the starter. Also the best team of the postseason with the Foles starting.

You guys are smoking crack with this "got hot at the right time" stuff, they were the best team all year , start to finish. Essentially going 16-2 and lost too a couple good teams in the regular season.

From his post you can tell he just got the years wrong. Had it in his head the 2018 season happened in 2017 and that team won the Super Bowl.

Denver had a dominating defense, and they carried a totally inept offense. Manning couldn't even throw the ball 20 yards, no joke

I think they were lucky to be playing against Cam, who was in over his head and essentially dysfunctional on that day

I still see him essentially just looking at the football he fumbled and not trying to recover it setting up Denver's game clinching TD. He could have made a difference, didn't really care to
