I don't know whether its increased media coverage or just good money chasing bad people! Nevertheless, its bad for sports altogether, but many would argue that negative publicity is just as good as positive publicity in the long run.

Stoudamire will admit someday he can't go a day without smoking a little something something.

Armstrong was trying out for a spot on celebrity boxing.

Lyashenko who knows, maybe the NY Post was going to report something on him before long.

Ray Lewis will stay out of trouble, he just has to worry about his posse getting in trouble at the Super Bowl.

Money causes ignorance in many, but the media is a stronger than ever. Nothing is missed. It was going on years ago, just not so much publicity.

I do agree with the General , the power of the media have grown in incredible proportions, they don't hide information anymore because 1)they know that sells 2)they don't get influenced by third party agendas, of course that is my naive humble opinion....
