Is there an injury or something? Seems like michigan cannot score and mich iowa games are usually close games.

The number seems a bit high in this game. Just wondering if there is something that I was missing.

Thanks,

Will play devil's advocate (I'm on Michigan). Iowa is a complete fraud still getting respect from oddsmakers based on previous years' teams. How is Iowa going to score more than 10 (if that many) in this game with absolutely no offensive playmakers. Tate will turn ball over at least 3 times, setting up short fields that Michigan offense will take advantage of. Jermelle lewis is weak at RB, so no worries about him. Iowa showed they can't defend the pass last week. While Henne is certainly not in Walter's class, the Michigan WR's certainly are better than what Iowa has faced. Double revenge plus humiliation of 34-9 home loss vs Iowa will be plenty motivation. Wolverins 30, Hawkeyes 10

How can you guys bet this game? Both these teams are so sporatic there is no telling what will happen. The under I believe has potential though.

I am HAWKEYE fan and follow the team very closely.

Their young QB is not going to lead them to many points......especially at Michigan.

ASU was able to run up 44 points on the HAWKS, mainly due to below average secondary coverage by IOWA.

Iowa is VERY stout againt the run, but Michigan should have their way against Iowa through the air.........maybe not as much as ASU did, but still be very successful.

A score of 28-10 seems very appropriate here.

I would be leary of taking IOWA + anything less than +14 in this spot..........and actually have a small lean towards Michigan.

Maybe I was not thinking on how Iowa has looked. I have not seen them play. I have watched 2 Michigan games and they have had trouble scoring against both ND and SD ST. I think I will take this game if it goes over 14 for a very small play or leave it alone.

Take it easy,

risky game at the least. i have season tickets to the hawks games and they have not been impressive. iowa also has injury problems in the o-line and their number two and three tailbacks are out for the season. iowa is tough against the run, but michigan likes to pass and with their wideouts, i see iowa having a
difficult time. plus iowa's pass rush has not been good. i got burned on the under with iowa/a.s.u. last week, but can't see this being a high scoring game.
bet as you wish, but i'll wait for line movement.

dirtyku, the team that can't score is Iowa: (17 at home vs pathetic Iowa State team that let Northern Ill go up & down on them). Michigan is averaging 38ppg at home over their last 11 games. Will give Iowa credit for tight defense and assume they hold Mich to 27 or even 24. That means Iowa still must score 10 -13 to cover. Short of a defensive or special teams score, that won't happen. Don't downgrade Mich for barely beating SDSU. Aztecs are just as good on defense as Iowa and were rested and fired up for game.
