What sportsbook in Vegas would probably have the most Super Bowl props?

Also, will sportsbooks in Vegas give lines over the phone? Or are the lines available on the internet?

Wow thats a good one..you would have to walk the strip to give the real answer...I would agree Hilton, Imperial..and then Bally's...Hard Rock is always good for a wierdo Prop.

I have not seen the prop sheets at the above mentioned casinos but Barrick Gaming has a 10 Page Prop Sheet..you name it they got it. I imagine Jay at the Hilton will have a lot of props. In case you are not aware Barrick bought the Union Plaza/Las Vegas Club in downtown LV. They still retained the 6- to 1 Payoff for 3-team Pars (football only) where outside of another property most books pay at 6-1...so i visit them a lot as I play a bunch of 3-team pars...hope they continue this policy for next year.

In response to your question about lines, yes lines are given out over the phone if you have a phone account with them...i have accounts at both Coast and Stations and bet where i have most favorable line.

The places with the most prop's are aforementioned Barrick gaming, Las Vegas Hilton, Park Place properties (Caesar's; Bally's; Paris; Flamingo), and Imperial Palace.

Sorry unless like pam said you have a phone account. And even then you have to be within so many miles or something to work. But no you cant just call the Mirage and get a rundown.

Thanks Pam Great Info...when I lived there one of the things that cracked me up was the "drive up bet window" at Imperial...you had to get out of the car on the strip to eat but Imperial had a bet drive through..LOL.

Nicky The Fish.....When you sign up for a betting account which I did at Coast and Station properties (both sports and horse accounts) several years ago they give you an account number (separate numbers for horses and sports) and a pager, also an instruction sheet explaining their operation. It is quite simple to use and very convenient..right now i am betting horses at Turf Paradise (AZ) and looking at baskets for tonight and still in my Jamies..after the weekend i felt like staying home.

The Pager System has a range of approx 30 miles and is to ensure you are within the State of NV (however there are holes in this System which the Gaming Commision ignores or is not aware of)...either way does not affect me as I am usually within 30 miles of LV. Some people in town are turned off by the Pager System...I have no idea why..must be difficult for some to coordinate Phone/Pager. I especially like using my phone accounts for half time bets...you watch the 1st half at home and can concentrate much better then being in a casino and bet accordingly. Love living in Vegas..most books in LA do not have halftime lines..only thing i miss is the beaches.

I would be willing to bet that if people were able to bet more than 2200 per day on their phone account they would put up with the pager. Just makes no sense, if you are a dime bettor this system is worthless. You can put in two plays then you have to go and place the bets in person anyway. For the small player it is nice especially with the Stations and Cox cable thing to bet on the net. Also, I believe over the next few years many of the properties will get rid of phone accounts like the Mirage already has for a simple fact that these corporations would rather pull out the sports books to throw in slots with all that space and let Leroys rent a 5'x5' area.

InSpades- Since Jay Kornegay took over the Hilton sportsbook, it's improved quite a bit. Of course, it had nowhere to go but up after that scumbag Art Manteris ran it into the ground. I don't bet in the sportsbooks here because they frown on actually gambling but someone told me the Imperial Palace just copied all the Hilton's props because from what I hear the jagoff running the IP has trouble finding the floor when he wakes up in the morning.

Pam- I enjoy reading your posts. You've put out some good information for being a new poster. But I have to ask. Why on earth would you use that idiotic pager that they require? I would tell them to take the pager and the instructions and shove them up their ***. When I first heard about the system, I laughed so hard I got the hiccups. There isn't one person working for the Nevada Gaming Commission that knows the first thing about sports betting but I didn't think even they could come up with an idea as dumb as the pager system.

I live in Vegas and I would have to say that the Imperial Palace is 1 st and the Las Vegas Hilton is second. My job takes me to the Imperial Palace 2 or 3 times a week and it is unbelievable how many Super Bowl props they have. I really don't get into playing props but if you do, I'd certainly check out the IP
