Not sure what lead you in that direction but I’m a conservative at heart simply stated believing in the intent of the Founders for unfettered free speech, freedom of religion (not from religion) and personal responsibility for each and all citizens with as little government as possible.

The big beautiful bill isn't fiscal conservatism, its quite the opposite. No fiscal conservative would add to the ballooning debt the way this bill will.

The party of traditional conservatism is gone, long gone.

The big beautiful bill isn't fiscal conservatism, its quite the opposite. No fiscal conservative would add to the ballooning debt the way this bill will.

Lower taxes, fewer regulations, downsizing bureaucracy, increasing states rights and adherence to the Constitution is conservatism.

The Constitution does NOT address the deficit. The balanced budget amendments have failed.

Now I personally want to decrease the deficit and the debt. But I think growing the economy is the most important thing and a growing economy will increase tax revenues and reduce the deficit

DOGE is cutting spending, eliminating bureaucracy will reduce spending, eliminating Medicare fraud will reduce spending, cutting the costs of prescription drugs will reduce Medicare spending, and increasing tariffs is already increasing revenues

So deficit concerns are greatly mitigated by items not found in the budget (however weird it may be that they're not)

Greenbacks & other Maga - The main reason ratings are dropping at MSNBC & CNN is most democrats or people who hate Trump have cut way back on their TV news consumption. 6 months before the election I'd watch 1-2 hours total a day of MSNBC, CNN and even a little Fox News. Now I I watch 90 minutes to 2 hours weekly. I now probably read a book a week and work 4 hours a week at the humane society.
